The Best and Hardest Thing You Will Ever Do
The Caucasus Research Resource Center is announcing a research training fellowship that will take place from March to December 2010. Fellows will be introduced to the basics of policy analysis, trained to use the statistical programs and to write up their results on a level expected by large international organizations. When the fellowship is completed, the best of the researchers will have further employment opportunities with CRRC.
What you will gain?

What you will be required to do?
- Write policy papers
- Contribute to complex research projects, on issues that are important to Azerbaijan’s future
- Work harder than you ever have done
- Learn and be extremely inquisitive
- Be an active team member
Who can apply?
- You should be aged from 18 to 24
- You should be a student or recent graduate
- You will be expected to learn extremely fast so should be very smart, dedicated, hard-working and open to criticism
- Must have good English-language skills
- Must have good numeracy skills. A basic understanding of statistics will be useful but not necessary
(NOTE: Master's degree holders from the Universities outside of Azerbaijan are not eligible to apply)
The Application process
Step 1: For application form, please, go directly to www.crrc.az/jfp or send a request to Aytan Mammadova at aytan.mammadova+jfp@crrccenters.org.
Step 2: Fill out the form and submit it no later than March 10, 2010.
Step 3: If you will be selected, you will be invited for an intensive on-line training from April to June 2010. After its completion you will be expected to submit an essay. The best fellows will be awarded prizes and invited to participate in the second round of the program.
