Determinants of labor exploitation and human trafficking in Azerbaijan

Dr. Azer Allahveranov, Ph.D. in Social Philosophy, delivered a lecture on Determinants of labor exploitation and human trafficking in Azerbaijan at CRRC-Azerbaijan.

The presenter discussed the recent ILO report on characteristics and determinants of labor exploitation of nationals and foreigners in Azerbaijan and citizens of Azerbaijan abroad. The report was prepared within the ILO project of Development of a Comprehensive Anti-Trafficking Response in the South Caucasus. The report focuses on labor migration of low-skilled workers, who are more likely to end up in abusive and exploitative situations.

The topic created vivid interest among CRRC visitors and was followed by questions and answers session.
