Past Events Introduction to Fiscal and Monetary Policy Dr Saied Sarkarat, United States' Fulbright Scholar, delivered a lecture on Introduction to Fiscal and Monetary Policy at CRRC-Azerbaijan. The presenter discussed various theories and policies utilized in macroeconomics in order to bring a desired economic outcome at the time of macro failure. He covered the monetary, fiscal and supply side policies by giving a historical application for each. The presentation generated great interest among visitors and was followed by an active discussion of the current financial crisis in the U.S.A and the world, its reasons and potential remedial policies.
